Program Overview

With support from the National Science Foundation, this REU Site is jointly run by the University of South Alabama and Quinnipiac University.

2023-24 Program Dates: December 17, 2023 – January 8, 2024

Students will receive:

  • A weekly stipend of $500
  • Housing in the UAE
  • Coverage of travel expenses to/from the UAE
  • Coverage of meals and necessary personal items

Students will develop and implement protocol to conduct research projects based on data collected on skeletal collections in the United Arab Emirates.
