Assignment Changes
Room Swap periods are offered prior to move in. Assigned students can change themselves to
a different building, room, or roommate within MyUSAHousing.
A Room Change Request period is potentially offered at the beginning of each semester for residents who
wish to request to change buildings, rooms, or roommates. Requests are submitted either
in MyUSAHousing and are processed based upon the date/time submitted and availability or through
a student's Residence Life Coordinator
Room Swap (Prior to Move In) Period for Academic Year 2025-2026:
- There are no planned Room Swap events at this time.
Students may swap room assignment and see/select from all available buildings except Fraternity/Sorority buildings.
Room Change Requests for Fall 2025
Fall 2025 Room Change Requests: Contact your Residence Life Coordinator for assistance and availability.
Requests are processed based on the date/time the room change request was submitted and room availability. Space is extremely limited. Residents will receive notice via JagMail on the status of their requests.
