7.2 Fair and Just Culture (Applicable to USA Health Employees)

USA Health recognizes that there is value in open communication regarding the balance of accountability for behavioral choices that affect performance and accountability for system weaknesses that need correction. Therefore, USA Health has adopted procedures to identify and provide avenues of communication to assess whether and how progressive discipline is applied. In an effort to mitigate safety concerns, USA Health has adopted a policy of Fair and Just Culture to evaluate situations, errors, and mistakes as a precursor to the progressive discipline policy.
