Gil is originally from Texas and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary
Studies from Angelo State University, where he joined Pi Kappa Alpha. He has been
supporting fraternity and sorority communities since 2015 and joined the University
of South Alabama in 2024 as the Associate Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life.
In his free time, Gil enjoys exploring Mobile’s food scene, catching up on true crime
podcasts, and spending time with his dog, Buckie.
